The Administration & Service Provision portfolio deals with municipal service provision, the municipality as an organisation and administrative relations in Delft. This can be both between the municipality and its citizens and between the municipality and other administrative parties. Examples include the covenant between the municipality and TU Delft, how we organise participation with our citizens and how the municipality cooperates regionally with other parties.

The municipality's ICT infrastructure also falls under this portfolio. STIP works closely with the Piratenpartij Delft to realise a municipality that is as open and privacy-friendly as possible. Important topics for STIP are Open Source Software (FOSS), Open Data and privacy safeguards.

Another important aspect of this portfolio is finance. Although the City Council of Delft has a separate committee which looks at municipal finances in an apolitical way, the Account & Audit Committee, technical choices about municipal finances have to be confirmed politically, which is what STIP does in this portfolio.

Lange wachttijden stemmen en tellen bij verkiezingen van 15 maart 2023

Tijdens de verkiezingen waren er lange wachtrijen om te kunnen stemmen. Sommige mensen moesten tot wel een uur wachten om te kunnen stemmen. Wij willen dit ten alle tijden voorkomen, omdat we mensen niet willen ontmoedigen om te gaan stemmen. Daarom hebben we gevraagd hoe dit is gebeurd en hoe dit voorkomen zal worden volgende keer.

Aandacht voor Europese samenwerking

Roept de MRDH op om Europese kansen voor economische bloei, op kennisdeling en samenwerking met andere regio’s te pakken. Europese inzet en deelname aan Europese programma’s versterkt de internationale economische positie van de MRDH.

Motie Minder afval, minder kosten

Met de motie spreekt de nieuwe raad uit serieus werk te willen maken van het verminderen van de hoeveelheid afval. Dat bespaart permanent geld en is zo een investering in een betaalbare en duurzame toekomst. Dat is toekomstbestendig beleid waar Delft beter van wordt.
