Robin Oosterhoff

Hi everyone! I’m Robin (20), and in 2023 I moved to Delft to study Applied Physics. By now, this city truly feels like home to me: vibrant, yet with the warmth and friendliness of a village.

In my studies, I learn how to use advanced physics to solve real-world problems. That mindset is something I want to bring to Delft as well, to help build a city that meets its climate goals, invests in sustainable solutions such as the district heating network, and takes responsibility for future generations. I also believe it is essential that everyone in Delft can find a suitable and affordable place to live.

Outside of politics, I’m a passionate athlete. I compete in triathlon and am transitioning to road cycling this year. You can find me at Wave, WTOS, and the Applied Physics student association (VVTP), where I’m active in the women’s committee.

I’m committed to a Delft where everyone feels at home, has a place to live, and works together to build a beautiful, sustainable city, a city where we look out for one another and care for each other.
